Two Training Programs Sponsored by DICT

The Philippine Government, through the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is pleased to announce the conduct of the ICT Scholarship and Training Program. This program aims to provide deserving Filipinos the opportunities to upgrade their skills in the fastest growing, higher value ICT segments, including that of the information technology-business process management (IT-BPM) industry.

For this program, the DICT worked with the IT-BPM industry, through the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), in offering the seminars Lean Six Sigma for IT-BPM Course and the Leveraging Organizational Data to Enhance Decision Making: A Business Intelligence Approach

These courses are designed , for LSS Program, to equip participants with the necessary expert knowledge, skills, attitudes and leadership in the planning and implementing sustainable improvement projects for improved organizational performance and success.  Target date to conduct this training is from September 2017 to January 2018.

For the Business Intelligence approach, this program will benefit business analysts, IT managers, data systems modelers, database administrators, data architects, CIOs, educators and others who need to take and analyze massive amounts of data from different sources to produce dashboards, generate summary reports and glean hidden information or patterns needed for managerial decision support. This program will also be advantageous for those who collect lots of data in order to analyze trends and systems.  Target date to conduct this training is on October 2017.
